About the Tree
Ficus Hispida
While travelling to a countryside India I was admiring growing ficus bengalines (banyan trees) growing on crumbling wall of old buildings and making an intricate pattern with clinging prop roots. It reminds me of seeing similar at bonsai convention in China. Drawing inspiration from that, Five years back I have created this art work with ficus Retusa.
